Return & Refund Policy
We Dip LLC's policy on shipment cancellations, refunds, returned or refused freight, and loss or damage claims for domestic freight services.
1. Overview
We Dip LLC provides freight transportation and logistics services, not physical products. Because of this, our "return" policy covers cancellations, refunds of service charges, freight that is refused or must be returned, and claims for lost or damaged cargo. This policy applies together with our Terms & Conditions and the rate confirmation for your shipment.
2. Cancellations
- Before dispatch: You may cancel a booked shipment at no charge before a truck has been dispatched to the pickup location.
- After dispatch: If a shipment is cancelled after a truck has been dispatched, or the truck arrives and the freight is not ready or not tendered, a Truck Ordered Not Used (TONU) fee may apply, as stated in your rate confirmation.
- How to cancel: Email info@wedipllc.com with your shipment or reference number. Cancellations are effective when we confirm them in writing.
3. Refunds
- If you prepaid for a shipment that is cancelled before dispatch, you will receive a full refund of the prepaid amount.
- If a shipment is cancelled after dispatch, we will refund the prepaid amount minus any TONU fee and charges already incurred.
- If we are unable to provide a service you paid for, you will receive a refund for that portion of the service.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
- Fuel surcharges and accessorial charges for services already performed (for example detention, layover, lumper or liftgate) are non-refundable.
4. Billing Disputes
If you believe an invoice is incorrect, email us within 30 days of the invoice date with the invoice number and a description of the issue. We will review supporting documents such as the bill of lading, rate confirmation and proof of delivery, and respond with a resolution. Any corrected amount will be credited or refunded as described above.
5. Refused or Returned Freight
- If a consignee refuses delivery or freight cannot be delivered for reasons outside our control (such as an incorrect address, closed facility or rejected appointment), we will contact the shipper for instructions.
- Return transportation, re-delivery, storage and related charges are the responsibility of the shipper unless the refusal resulted from our error.
- Freight held without instructions may be subject to storage fees after a reasonable notice period.
6. Loss & Damage Claims
At delivery
Inspect freight at delivery. Note any visible damage, shortage or concern on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before signing, and take clear photos. Report concealed damage discovered after delivery as soon as possible, ideally within 5 days.
Filing a claim
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within nine (9) months of the delivery date (or, for lost shipments, the date delivery should reasonably have occurred). Send your claim to info@wedipllc.com and include:
- Shipment or reference number, bill of lading and proof of delivery.
- A description of the loss or damage and photos.
- The amount claimed with supporting documents such as a commercial invoice or repair estimate.
Claim handling
Claims are handled in line with federal rules for interstate freight (including 49 U.S.C. § 14706 and 49 C.F.R. Part 370). Claims are typically acknowledged within 30 days and resolved within 120 days of receipt. Liability may be limited as stated in the bill of lading, rate confirmation or applicable tariff unless a higher value was declared and agreed in writing before shipment. Please do not deduct claim amounts from freight charges.
